The Ideal Email Address

We prefer a well-formed email address with your names spelled out and there are no embedded numbers and underscore characters. We frown on the clever alias or addresses whose owner appears to be a secret agent (e.g., james007@gmail.com).

The following are good examples of well-formed email addresses.

   william.gates@gmail.com
   michael.dell@gmail.com
   warren.buffet@gmail.com
   henry.sy@gmail.com
   jose.rizal@gmail.com
   andres.bonifacio@gmail.com

Please note that dotted names already look good with the first and last names. So, there's no need to include the middle name or initial and a second given name. There is also no need to affix "jr" or "III" for those who share their names with their parents.

If your name is common or your chosen name is not available, you can use your nickname and your last name in dotted form.

   bill.gates@gmail.com
   mike.dell@gmail.com
   joe.rizal@gmail.com
   andy.bonifacio@gmail.com

Another option is to just use your first name or last name and affix ".ph". But to make the address well-proportioned, your name should be at least 3-characters.

   jaime.ph@gmail.com
   zobel.ph@gmail.com
   ayala.ph@gmail.com

If you still cannot get a good email address, use the initial(s) of your first names and middle name plus your last name in undotted form. Or, all of your initials (including "j" for junior) also in undotted form.

   jpr@gmail.com

If you reach this part without a good email address, try other keywords with your name and check the availability at Gmail. If you find acceptable email addresses, post a comment at Cannot Follow Instruction and include your chosen alternatives. We'll pick what's most acceptable to us.
